Dylan Daly

Technical Inspector & Pavement Specialist

Dylan is a qualified Civil Engineer who specialises in aerodrome pavements.

Dylan conducts airport inspections and surveys at airports of all sizes throughout Australia and the South Pacific region. The inspections include surveys of the OLS and approach and take-off climb surface areas, pavement inspections and procedural audits.

Having previously been trained as an airfield engineering officer in the Royal Australian Airforce, Dylan has a special interest in pavement design, inspection and maintenance. Dylan provides independent engineering advice to airports who are planning airport expansions or upgrades. The advice is independent of the Constructing Contractor. This is to prevent unforeseen costs as a result of the contractors’ potential limited experience in the specialised airport environment. Using his expeditionary experience gained with the Air Force, Dylan is available for short notice pavement inspections and emergency repair advice arising from extreme weather or aircraft damage to movement surfaces and drainage.
