Andrew Stewart

Director / Inspector / Trainer
  • Andrew is a qualified surveyor and has over 20 years’ experience in conducting airport inspections and surveys at airports of all sizes throughout Australia and the South Pacific region. The surveys include the OLS and approach and take-off climb surface areas. Andrew is also a CASA accredited Aerodrome Safety Inspector (No. 002) and an airport standards and policy specialist. Andrew is also an Airport operations and technical training specialist and delivers ARO/WSO training.

Tom Skorzewski

Training Coordinator
  • Tom has extensive experience in providing ARO/WSO training and offers the convenience of on-site training (for 6 or more students) which saves our clients travel and accommodation costs for each student and off-site time. Tom delivers AROC training, a 3-day ARO/WSO training course and 5-day Certificate III Aviation (Aerodrome Operations) AVI30516 training course. Tom has earned the reputation of being a friendly and approachable trainer who delivers the training in a manner which achieves the best outcomes for his students

John (Moochie) Christian

Electrical Inspector
  • John trained with the Department of Civil Aviation as an electrical technician in January 1973 and as a licensed electrician has worked on electrical systems for airports throughout Australia and the South Pacific over the past 40+ years. John’s experience includes carrying out Electrical Technical Inspections of airports of all sizes, installation of airport lighting systems and reticulation infrastructure, major airport lighting upgrades and airport lighting maintenance

Sheryl de Bruyn

Business Manager
  • Sheryl de Bruyn, JASKO’s Office Manager, has worked in the aviation industry for 19 years. During this time, Sheryl has gained extensive experience in compliance and management roles working as Terminal Services Manager for Mackay Airport for many years and as Policy & Planning Manager for Archerfield airport for six years. Sheryl has a Bachelor of Business (Management) degree. Sheryl has a special interest in working with airport clients to produce/update aerodrome manuals and manages the office and all administrative tasks for JASKO. Sheryl holds an AROC and has completed WHS for Managers & Supervisors and DAMP Supervisor training in recent years.

Chris Perry - The Birdman

Aviation Ecologist
  • Chris, previously of Avisure, is a qualified Aviation Ecologist and over the past 8 years has gained extensive experience in wildlife hazard management (including risk assessments), wildlife hazard audits and wildlife hazard training. Chris has developed Wildlife Hazard Management Plans (WHMP) for numerous airports in Australia and overseas (e.g. Bahrain and New Zealand). The WHMPs are customized for each airport and specific compliance requirements
